Founded in the fall of 2003, Tenacity grew from a handful of like-minded entrepreneurs to over 100 consultants spanning the globe and the National Security agencies. Tenacity was founded by national security veterans who held the customers' missions as their own. They founded Tenacity as a home for other high-end consultants who would otherwise be running their own companies. The Tenacity founders discovered that by pooling their resources and developing a lightweight support staff, they could better meet their customers' needs as a group than as individuals. This design made Tenacity a destination for IT consultants seeking to own their own destiny and tackle their customers' hardest problems.
As word of Tenacity's model spread, more consultants joined the ranks and more customers were liberated from monolithic beltway bandits where employees were nothing more than butts-in-seats; generating revenue but no value to the customer.
Tenacity enjoyed geometric growth in revenue and margin over its first five years. From 2003 to 2008, Tenacity grew 4,800% in revenue and 660% in employees.
The next five years will be equally beneficial for both its employees and its customers.
