Tenacity Engineers Present at DEFCON 18

Tenacity Engineer Gene Bransfield is repeating his OUTERZONE presentation on "Why Security People Suck" at DEFCON 18's SkyBox.  Additionally, research on keystroke injection USB devices funded by the Tenacity Institute for Strategic Risk Management, will be presented by Andrian Crenshaw, a Tenacity consultant.

DEFCON, an annual hacker convention held this year from July 30th - August 1 at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.  In its 18th year, DEFCON continues to be the largest hacker convention with anticipated attendance of 5,000 this year.

Branfield is a Tenacity Engineer involved in security testing and evaluation (ST&E).  He is recognized and well respected amongst the National Security community where he regularly consults with designers and developers of high integrity platforms.

Crenshaw, aka IronGeek, runs, a security research portal.  IronGeek is presenting his research on a programmable HID USB keystroke injector.  He will demonstrate how this feature of modern OS's can be used for both fun and mischief.
